THE KRYPTON FORCE TRAILER GUY

Before I was old enough to legally rent Wicked City, my only exposure to anime was through a company called Krypton Force, who released a bunch of child-friendly series direct-to-video, all dubbed by somebody called "Mr Angelo". What stuck in my mind most, though, was the guy who appeared at the end of every tape and encouraged us to buy more. Seemingly animated on Mario Paint and accompanied by a Casio keyboard demo, he mumbled and lisped his way through a voiceover which he clearly didn't understand or rehearse. My farvourite part is when he reads "Pandemonium" as "Panadonium", which sounds like a headache tablet.

"THE GHOST BUSTERS" OPENING CREDITS

The frankly magnificent opening credits of The Ghost Busters, a live action series starring Forrest Tucker, Larry Storch and a man in a gorilla suit, who run around throwing cream pies at each other and zapping ghosts with some sort of camera. It only lasted one season, but after the success of the "proper" Ghost Busters, it got a spin-off animated series. So if you were ever wondering why the fuck there was another Ghost Busters series with a gorilla in it, now you know.
